It is raining

And rain must be accompanied by a shower....

Today I arrived at my ladies bible study an hour late. We were having a pot luck lunch so even though I was so late I still wanted to go. I pulled into the parking lot to discover blue and green balloons everywhere. I thought they were probably for the minister's son's birthday. I was wrong

Surprise...

Adoption shower! Jaden and I opened presents and ate a delicous lunch and talked with all of Jade's favourite "grandmothers". It was a great afternoon!

It is amazing how community makes a church more then a great sermon or contemporary worship music. My church is horribly old fashioned and there are things I would change, but the people are like family, even though we have only been going there since February.
