Jaden's Poo Story and Elijah's Toilet story

So the past two days have been full of bathroom cleaning.

Jaden's story:

Yesterday I was changing a dirty diaper and had just finished cleaning off the babe's bum. He crawled away without a diaper on and played a little while I cleaned up. Then he crawled back and sat down on his clean diaper and went poo. I was soo impressed that he knew not to poo on the carpet. I hugged him and cheered for him, cleaned him up again and let him wander away again without a diaper as I finished throwing out the garbage. I then went and picked him up, only to see poo shooting out of his bum all over the carpet. AHHH So I grabbed the diaper change pad and stuck it under his bum. He stopped pooing and I decided he needed a bath due to his dirty legs. I brought him to the bathroom and put him into the tub with some toys (no water) while I grabbed a towel and cloth from the drawer. I turned around to discover he had pooed some more and wipped it all over the bath tub and himself. He had poo on every part of his body. So I rinced him off but the tub was so dirty I had to bring him into the other bathroom to give him a bath in a clean bath tub, which of course was no longer clean when we were finished.

I cleaned both bathrooms and their floors.

And then Elijah's Toilet story ... and the only bathroom I didn't clean yesterday.....

So We came in from outside and I had Elijah (my cousin) take off his muddy clothes. While we were in the bathroom I thought it was the perfect time for him to try going to the bathroom since we are working on potty training. I left him sitting on the toilet while I grabbed some clean clothes. When I returned he told me he was cold and I asked if his bum had fallen into the toilet. He said no (Which I later learned was a lie). He wanted more time to try to go so I left him on the toilet and went to grab a drink. I came back 1 minute later to find him with one foot in the toilet, both legs soaking wet and his hands dripping. My floor was covered in toilet water. So, up to the bath tub we went.

I now have three sparkling bathrooms.

  1. I forgot to mention that Jade also covered all of his bath toys in poo. I have yet to clean them.

  2. HAHAHA! Elijah's the kind of kid who likes to play in mud puddles, isn't he?! And when a mud puddle isn't available... you need to improvise!

    Good stories
