The Future

So our future is way up in the air right now, very exciting, but very up in the air.

We are waiting to see what God has in mind for Pete's job. We could move, things could change at his work, we could stay and he could change jobs. We are finally settling into a church and getting to know people. The only thing I'm struggling with is there is no one my age there.

I've given my notice at work that I wont be returning in September. Every once in a while when I tell people I'm not returning I feel like I have to make excuses. I'm going to be a full time stay at home Mom. I LOVE working two mornings a week but I also love the freedom of not working. I love using my education and being creative but I don't like having work that I have to bring home. There are plus and minuses to both, I just hope I've followed God's direction here.

I'm starting to become better friends with some of the staff. One of the grade 4 teachers is going on Maternity leave next year so we are hoping to get together and play board games while our sons play together (yah right .. like toddlers can play while their mom's do something exciting with small colourful peices that look like fun)

Plus my sister might be moving to Toronto to go to school next year. How great would it be to live close to her.

But if we moved to my former home town we'ld be closer to my parents (free babysitting I trust!) and my best friend (one of two people who actually read my blog). And my sister plans to move back there when she finishes her course.

Oh the possibilities.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

Thank goodness that at least someone knows the plan!
