Eye patches

I'm on March break this week, but I've kept Jaden in Day care for his usual days becauseI have to pay for them anyways, and it's good to keep him in routine. I had this whole plan of how I was going to spend my time. I have an entire house to paint (except the bathrooms). I have 2 weeks worth of laundry to wash and fold. I have scrapbooking to do.

And then Monday rolls around. I came into Jaden's room while Pete is getting him ready for Day Care. Jaden runs to give me a hug ... and punches me in the eye. All morning long I tried to ignore the face that something was wrong. Finally Pete came home and made me got to the doctors, where it was discovered Jaden had damaged my eye. I had to wear an eye patch for two days. TWO DAYS. I couldn't drive, go out in public, or line up tape to finish my painting. Then today I had to spend half of my day sitting in the doctors office waiting to have my eye checked out to make sure it is healing.

So, that has been my March Break so far. Oh so fun.
