Grandmothers

I have some amazing memories of time spent with my grandparents. We went on trips, they taught us card games, I got to "work" in a shoe store, I had so many opportunities to learn and explore.

My mother-in-law came over yesterday so I could get some house cleaning done. She is amazing with kids and loves all of her grandchildren. I'm really noticed that my babe is talking a lot more today. I can remember my Aunt saying that her kids didn't start talking until they had spent a few days with her mother. I'm sure it is because grandmother's have an endles amount of energy since they don't have to parent 24/7 like the rest of us. So they can lavish the love, talk the talk, and encourage the walk while us exhausted parents seem to only be surviving some days.
