Constant movement

Life never seems to slow down, does it. Pete and I took last weekend off from visiting my most amazing friend and my "boys" from high school to do stuff around the house. We've been traveling almost every weekend. It is exciting to see our weekend wasn't too much of a waste, we have grass starting to come up on our entire yard. YAY!!!

We are working towards potty training. Jaden's been showing a lot of interest in it lately and has been telling us when he is dirty since he was 10 months old. So we've started a routine of sitting on the potty before baths and at other points during the day. We've had no luck so far BUT ... one night we were getting ready for a bath and after taking his diaper off he told me he had to pee. He ran towards the bathroom out of his room. When I got into the hall I found him sitting on one of his plastic chairs going to the bathroom. It was a mess but it was exciting to see he gets the idea!

And now my mom is coming for a couple days this week. She's making me a dress for the many weddings I am going to this summer. I'm excited to see how it turns out.

And next week, depending on her work schedule, my sister might come for a few days.

This is all perfect timing. Jaden would have to be in day care a lot while I work on report cards and student profiles. Plus, my school is moving buildings to our new school at the end of the month so there is a lot to do at work right now.

We decided to cancell our plans to have a garage sale this coming weekend due to the fact we didn't think we could get the stuff in the basement all organized without having to work through the night, every night this week. So, that clears up one thing. And the following weekend, we haven't received any confirmation from the hotel we booked for an adventure we were going on, which means we may not be going. I'm almost excited to see those plans cancelled, but I know Pete would be disapointed.
